  • Never do work out barefoot on a treadmill. Wear good quality shoes and sneakers for it. As pressure on heels is more than on toes while walking or running. Shoes are a must for doing workouts on the treadmill daily. They must be comfortable enough for the user to run or walk on the treadmill smoothly.
  • Place the treadmill on a stable surface. If it's foldable then it should be completely locked and in place. If the treadmill is used at home, make sure it's placed at the end of your carpet, not on an uneven surface.
  • People with medical conditions should be careful. As sudden movement can affect blood pressure. So it's suggested that to begin slowly, warm-up and increase speed and endurance also in a slow manner. 
  • The usage of the treadmill in various ways to lose weight. Like to work out on it daily, to watch tv or listen to music while walking or running etc. Cardio training on a treadmill helps to decrease the risk of chronic diseases related to the heart and improves your sleep, mood and brain functioning.
